A Precise, High-Yield Package Sealing Process

The M2400e Parallel Seam Sealer provides the highest yield and lowest temperature hermetic package sealing process available. Advanced capabilities include digital sealing power and lid placement inspection. The M2400e can be used standalone or integrated with a VPSP-designed dry box and vacuum oven with interlocked pass-through. The Windows®-driven software allows for multiple user-defined recipes with myriad permutations to allow for different-sized packages on a single economical system.

Key recipe parameters include the following:

  • Digital power control
  • Real time electrode force control
  • Electrode height control
  • Seal path management for square, rectangular, round, and irregularly shaped packages up to 12" x 8"
  • Dry box parameters:
    • Pressure
    • Gas mixing and injection (oxygen, helium, or nitrogen)
  • Oven parameters:
    • Bake time
    • Bake temperature
    • Temperature cycling for moisture abatement
    • Vacuum-N2 purge cycling
