Veeco Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq: VECO) today announced that Taiwan-based Formosa Epitaxy (FOREPI) and its Chinese affiliate, Jiangsu Canyang Corporation, have placed a multi-unit order for Veeco's recently released TurboDisc(R) MaxBright(TM) Multi-Reactor MOCVD System for production of high-brightness light-emitting diodes (HB LEDs).
